News Kilpatrick Townsend Expands Government Relations Practice in Winston-Salem
Firm Adds Charles “Ches” F. McDowell
WINSTON-SALEM (July 6) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Charles “Ches” F. McDowell IV to the firm’s Winston-Salem office. Mr. McDowell, a Lexington, North Carolina native, joins the firm as a Government Relations Advisor on the firm’s Government Relations Team in the Corporate, Finance and Real Estate Department. Mr. McDowell’s practice will center on representing clients in all levels of government, with a focus on the North Carolina General Assembly.

His experience will be invaluable as he works closely with firm clients and attorneys.”
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McDowell worked for Senator Phil Berger in his position as Senate Republican Leader, and later when Sen. Berger was elected Senate President Pro Tempore. Following his time at the North Carolina General Assembly, Mr. McDowell consulted, advised and lobbied for clients in a variety of industries with a wide range of interests.
Most recently, Mr. McDowell served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable David M. Warren of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Mr. McDowell earned his J.D. from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. He received his B.A. in Political Science from North Carolina State University, magna cum laude with Departmental Honors.
